Our pork is locally farmed in Frederick, Maryland. We choose this ham hock because of the Applewood characteristics that work well when cooking hock in some of our favorite dishes like hearty collard greens or heirloom beans like our White Spanish Heirloom Kidney Beans.

Keep refrigerated or frozen. Thaw in refrigerator overnight. Keep raw meat and poultry separate from other foods. Wash work surfaces including cutting boards, utensils and hands after touching raw meat or poultry. Cook thoroughly.
