Our Short Ribs are from grass fed, grain finished steer. That balance gives a well marbled short rib and when braising provides depth of flavor and if grilling. Note, when grilling boneless short ribs they will be a tougher cut however VERY flavorful. Each rib is approximately 2- 2.5" and average .33lbs.
While this cut is traditionally braised and slow cooked, if cooking on a grill or hot skillet - it is a tougher eating steak. However since we carve this cut from the rib bone it has a lot of flavor.
Keep refrigerated or frozen. Thaw in refrigerator overnight. Keep raw meat and poultry separate from other foods. Wash work surfaces, including cutting boards, utensils and hands after touching raw meat or poultry. Cook thoroughly.
